Terrasson lavilledieu
At less than 50 Km. away from the bed and breakfast Manoir de La Brunie, stands the village of Terrasson Lavilledieu in Dordogne.
Gallo-Roman city, Terrasson Lavilledieu saw the founding of the first Benedictine abbey in the late sixth century. Its strategic location and easy access favored the Norman invasions, she was also the site of many battles during the 100 Years War and the Wars of Religion.
